Archi's New Year Bash Celebrates Georgian Entrepreneurs and Festive Traditions

Archi recently hosted a two-day New Year celebration at Grand Avenue, exclusively for its residents. The event showcased local entrepreneurship while introducing a new festive tradition. Attendees enjoyed live performances, a decorated tree, and a special product fair featuring 50 Georgian businesses. The centrepiece of the event was a unique New Year tree adorned with collectible glass ornaments. These decorations paid tribute to George Coby (Giorgi Kobakhidze), a Georgian immigrant whose success in America turned the Christmas tree into a holiday staple for millions. Archi founder Ilia Tsulaia highlighted Coby’s journey as an inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The event also included a product exhibition and sales fair, giving local businesses a platform to showcase their goods. Residents received monetary vouchers, usable only with participating entrepreneurs, to encourage direct spending and support small enterprises. Feedback from the businesses involved was overwhelmingly positive. Entertainment featured live music, theatrical acts, and a performance by the Gori Children’s Choir. A ballet recital added to the festive atmosphere. Archi confirmed that this initiative marks the start of an annual tradition aimed at fostering community and entrepreneurship.

The celebration reinforced Archi’s commitment to social responsibility by creating festive experiences for residents. The company plans to continue supporting Georgian entrepreneurs through future events. The success of this year’s gathering sets a foundation for an ongoing tradition of community-focused festivities.
