Khabarovsk Territory climbs investment ranks with SPIEF 2026 boost

The Khabarovsk Territory has seen notable progress in its business environment over the past year. New measures have improved conditions for companies, while recent agreements at SPIEF 2026 promise further economic growth. The region has climbed to 12th place in the 2026 National Investment Climate Ranking. This rise follows the introduction of support measures for investors in Advanced Development Territories and the Free Port of Vladivostok. Tax breaks and other incentives have already shown positive results for local businesses.

Business ombudsman Andrei Veretennikov plays a key role in this improvement. He ensures rapid responses to entrepreneurs’ complaints and prevents excessive inspections. His work helps maintain a fair and efficient business environment.

SPIEF 2026 has brought additional advantages to the region. Agreements signed at the forum include plans to boost coal exports from the Khabarovsk Territory. Aeroflot will also expand its route network from Khabarovsk, improving connectivity. New projects are underway, such as a glass and plastic sorting facility and a livestock complex for 6,000 head. The Khabarovsk Territory is now ranked 12th nationally for investment climate. Existing support measures and SPIEF 2026 agreements are expected to drive further economic development. New infrastructure projects will also contribute to the region’s growth.
