Battery Production Days 2026 to Spotlight Startups and Industry Innovations
The second edition of Battery Production Days will take place in Aachen on 20 and 21 October 2026. The event is designed for professionals across the battery value chain, including executives, engineers, and startups. It will be held at the Manfred-Weck-Haus and is expected to attract around 250 attendees. The conference will feature six sessions with more than 15 hours of networking opportunities. It will also highlight startups in the battery production sector through the BPD Start-up Challenge.
Applications for the challenge will open on 1 July 2026 and close on 31 August 2026. Startups developing technologies for future battery manufacturing are eligible to apply. Each submission must include a pitch deck and be sent via an online form.
A jury of industry and applied research experts will review the entries. Selected finalists will then present their solutions in live pitches during the event. The 2026 Battery Production Days will bring together key players in battery manufacturing. The start-up challenge offers a platform for innovative companies to showcase their work. Both the conference and challenge aim to foster collaboration and advancement in the sector.
