The President has issued new directives to boost development in key sectors. A recent briefing outlined progress on major infrastructure and investment projects, including Alatau City’s roadshow in China and upgrades to energy and utility systems. During the Alatau City Roadshow in China, 20 events and meetings took place. These led to the signing of 30 agreements and memorandums worth $6.4 billion. Discussions were held with Shenzhen Mayor Qin Weizhong, Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive John Lee, and leaders of major international companies to highlight Alatau’s investment opportunities.

The President also reviewed water resource projects, including modernising hydraulic structures and building new reservoirs and canals. Over 1.1 trillion tenge has been allocated this year for housing and utility infrastructure upgrades under the national project 'Modernization of the Energy and Utilities Sectors'.

The government was instructed to secure funds for Alatau City’s infrastructure. The President stressed the need to involve domestic manufacturers in energy and utility modernisation. A sustainable development model for Alatau City was emphasised to attract global capital and innovation. Future work plans were outlined based on these directives. The President’s instructions cover infrastructure funding, domestic industry involvement, and sustainable growth for Alatau City. The roadshow in China secured significant investment agreements, while ongoing projects aim to modernise critical sectors. Authorities will now implement the outlined plans to achieve these goals.
