Ava's Pet Palace Treats Land in Obama Presidential Center Gift Shop

Ava’s Pet Palace, a pet treat business, will soon be available at the Obama Presidential Center gift shop. The company, founded by Ava Dorsey a decade ago, has grown from a childhood project into a nationwide success. Its products will be stocked at the shop from its grand opening this Thursday. Dorsey started Ava’s Pet Palace at just eight years old. Her love for animals inspired her to create treats for her own pets. The business has since thrived, with its products now sold across the US.

All treats are made with seven organic ingredients, including organic oat flour and organic brown rice flour. Every component is sourced from certified US organic co-manufacturers, ensuring high quality.

La Paws Boutique in Pilsen already stocks the treats. Owner July Miranda contacted Ava’s Pet Palace because the products align with her store’s focus on minority-owned and Chicago-based brands. A buyer from the Obama Presidential Center gift shop also reached out in August 2022 to include them in its inventory. The treats will be available at the Obama Presidential Center gift shop from its opening day. Ava’s Pet Palace continues to expand, with its organic, locally focused products gaining wider recognition. The business marks a decade of success since its modest beginnings.
