Info Edge names Himanshu Agarwal as new CFO amid record financial growth

Info Edge has appointed Himanshu Agarwal as its new chief financial officer. He will take up the role on 17 September 2026. The company also announced his position as a whole-time director on its board for five years. Agarwal brings over 15 years of experience as a CFO across multiple firms. Currently, he serves as CFO and whole-time director at Cohan Lifesciences. He holds qualifications as a chartered accountant, company secretary, and cost and management accountant.

Info Edge reported strong financial growth in FY26. Net profit rose by 35% to ₹1,762.8 crore, while revenue increased by 15% year-on-year to ₹3,284.7 crore. The company’s consumer tech and consumer-AI portfolio, spanning 45 startups, is now valued at ₹2,755 crore, marking a 13.5 times growth.

Since 2020, Info Edge has invested ₹1,003 crore in 54 AI and deeptech startups. Its total investment in AI companies has reached ₹1,268 crore, delivering a 2.1 times IRR and a gross IRR of 31%. The firm operates several platforms, including Naukri, 99acres, Jeevansaathi, Aisle, and Shiksha. Agarwal’s appointment comes as Info Edge continues to expand its financial and technological investments. His expertise will support the company’s growth in AI and consumer tech. He will officially join the leadership team in September 2026.
