Court fines LLC Dan 2.4 million rubles for illegal kiosk operations

A court has ordered LLC Dan to pay 2.4 million rubles for operating two retail kiosks without permission. The structures stood on undelineated state land near the Central Market from 2022 to 2025. The company was found to have acted knowingly in violation of the law. The court established that LLC Dan placed two kiosks on state-owned land without any formal agreement. It also failed to pay for the use of the site during the three-year period. Judges ruled the company was fully aware its actions were unlawful.

As a result, the court recovered 2 million rubles in unjust enrichment from the company. An additional 470,000 rubles in interest was added for the use of another’s funds. The total sum of 2.4 million rubles must be paid to the city’s Department of Municipal Property. The ruling confirms the illegal use of public land for commercial purposes. LLC Dan must now transfer the full amount to the municipal authority. The case sets a precedent for similar violations in the area.
