Young residents in Russia’s Far East are embracing the Pushkin Card in large numbers. Over 40% of those aged 14 to 22 now hold the cultural benefit card. The programme has seen significant growth in participation across several regions this year. VTB has issued 358,000 Pushkin Cards in the Far Eastern Federal District. The Jewish Autonomous Oblast leads with 50% of its young population holding the card, followed by Buryatia at 48% and Khabarovsk Krai at 46%. Other areas are catching up quickly.

Yakutia has recorded a 51% rise in new cardholders since January. Sakhalin and Amur Oblast have also seen sharp increases of 44% and 43%, respectively. The average spending per cardholder in the region has now passed 1,400 rubles.

So far this year, residents have spent 290 million rubles on cultural events using the card. Movie tickets account for 400 rubles of the average expenditure per person. The Pushkin Card is proving popular among young people in the Far East. Its use for cultural activities continues to grow, with spending on events and entertainment rising steadily. The trend highlights strong engagement with the programme across the region.
