Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs explore state support at Tonshaevo roundtable

A cross-municipal roundtable titled 'Support Measures: Business Development Tools' took place in Tonshaevo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. The event gathered 60 entrepreneurs eager to grow their businesses and access government backing. It was jointly organised by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship and the My Business centre. The meeting included an exhibition of products from local manufacturers. Experts from different organisations briefed attendees on state support programmes, payment solutions, investment opportunities, and ways to promote local goods.

Maxim Cherkasov, the region’s Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship, highlighted the value of such events for direct dialogue between business owners and officials. The district is also developing four investment projects worth a combined 270 million rubles.

Since the start of 2026, similar roundtables have been held in Zavolzhye, Arzamas, Bor, Pavlovo, Voskresenskoye, and Tonshaevo. Nearly 500 business representatives have attended these sessions so far. More meetings are scheduled for Navashino, Knyaginino, Bolshoye Boldino, and Ardato before the year ends. The roundtable provided entrepreneurs with practical information on support measures and funding. It also reinforced ongoing efforts to boost local business growth across the region. Further events will continue to extend this outreach to additional municipalities.
