Cyprus to Host AI and Fintech Startup Showdown in December

Cyprus will host a major startup pitch competition this December. The event, called Unicorn Pitches: AI-Powered Real World Innovation, takes place in Limassol on the 3rd. It aims to highlight Cyprus as a growing centre for innovation and draw international interest. The Cyprus Business Club is organising the event. Applications are open until the end of November for startups in AI, Fintech, Blockchain, and Sustainable Technologies. Fifteen selected entrepreneurs will present their ideas to a global panel of judges in Limassol.

Over 300 investors, founders, and innovators from more than 10 countries will attend. The winner will earn the chance to represent Cyprus at the Global Unicorn Battle in Los Angeles in 2026. Unicorn Pitches is part of Unicorn.Events, a worldwide network spanning 125 countries that has helped startups secure over $1 billion in funding. The competition offers a platform for local startups to gain visibility and funding. It also strengthens ties between Cypriot and international businesses. The deadline for applications remains open until late November.
