Mexico City's INAPAM centres redefine ageing with 150+ senior activities
INAPAM operates four cultural centres in Mexico City to promote healthy ageing among older adults. The centres are located in Alhambra, Aragón, Cuauhtémoc, and San Francisco neighbourhoods. They aim to encourage active participation through a wide range of activities. Each centre offers over 150 programs tailored to the interests and needs of participants. These include educational, physical, cultural, recreational, and skill-building activities. Enrollment takes place in person at the chosen location during set periods in December, March, June, and September.
Seniors must bring the required documents when visiting to sign up. The centres are open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. INAPAM designed the programs to support holistic well-being and health for older adults. The initiative provides structured opportunities for engagement and learning. It ensures access to diverse activities that cater to different preferences. The centres remain a key resource for seniors seeking an active lifestyle.
