Adani Group's Vande Bharatam initiative empowers entrepreneurs across India
Adani Group has launched a nationwide initiative to support entrepreneurs and innovators across India. Called Vande Bharatam, the programme aims to reach founders outside traditional startup hubs. It offers mentorship, investor networks, and incubation support to participants of all ages and business stages. Applications for Vande Bharatam opened on 24 June through the initiative’s website. The programme welcomes entries from diverse sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, sustainability, traditional crafts, and community-led solutions.
The initiative will cover all 36 states and union territories, spanning over 800 districts and multiple Indian languages. This reflects Adani Group’s push to expand its focus beyond established startup centres. More than half of India’s DPIIT-recognised startups are already based in tier II and III cities.
A total of 75 finalists will be selected for an intensive programme in Ahmedabad. They will receive mentorship, meet investors, and participate in industry networking events. The programme will conclude around Independence Day. Vande Bharatam seeks to provide access to resources for founders in underserved regions. It highlights the growing influence of startups outside major urban centres. The initiative also aligns with broader efforts to support innovation across India’s diverse economic landscape.
