Omsky District honors entrepreneurs with investment push on Russia's Business Day

Entrepreneur’s Day in Russia is marked annually on May 26, following a presidential decree signed by Vladimir Putin in 2007. This year, Omsky District celebrated the occasion with a special event honouring local business owners. A ceremonial gathering took place in Omsky Municipal District on June 11, 2026. Local leaders, including Gennady Dolmatov, head of the municipality, were present. Russian Senator and Hero of Russia Dmitry Perminov also attended, alongside regional lawmaker Dmitry Golovanov. All three offered congratulations to the district’s entrepreneurs.

Omsky District has built a reputation for its significant investment projects and cultural heritage sites. The people of the area are considered its greatest strength. Recently, the district administration showcased six investment-ready projects to attract investors. These cover sectors such as tourism, housing and utilities, construction, and agriculture. The district now leads the region in both the quality and quantity of investment proposals. The event highlighted the district’s commitment to supporting business growth.
