Bayut adds five European languages to attract global property buyers
Bayut, the UAE’s largest property portal, has expanded its language offerings to include five new European languages. The update now supports French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Dutch. This move aims to better serve its growing international user base. Bayut has provided English and Arabic interfaces from the start. These catered to both local and regional audiences. The platform previously added Chinese and Russian, which boosted engagement among those speakers.
The latest addition follows sustained demand from overseas buyers. Many are drawn to the UAE’s economic stability, strong infrastructure, and favourable investment climate. Muneeb Farrukh, Vice President of Product at Bayut, highlighted the role of language in helping users understand and assess property options.
With the new languages, users can now browse listings, compare properties, and check prices in their native tongue. The expansion aligns with Bayut’s broader push for product innovation, including advanced search tools and data-driven features to aid property decisions. The multilingual update reflects Bayut’s commitment to accessibility and user experience. It also follows recent investments by parent company Dubizzle Group, such as its stake in Tern, a UAE-based rental rewards platform. These steps aim to enhance the property journey beyond search and discovery.
