Wiesbaden's StartAward 2026 Opens with €10,000 Top Prize for Startups

Wiesbaden will host its StartAward startup prize in 2026. The competition targets entrepreneurs with innovative ideas and offers cash rewards. Applications are now open for eligible businesses based in the city. The StartAward invites startups founded in 2021 or later and headquartered in Wiesbaden. Entrepreneurs can apply until August 15, 2026. The competition also includes a special category for students at Wiesbaden universities.

The 'Ready to Go' student category offers a first-place prize of €1,500. Semifinalists will be selected for events on September 15-16, 2026. Three main winners will receive €10,000, €7,500, and €5,000 respectively.

An additional €5,000 prize will go to a woman-led startup under the 'Female Founders' award. All winners gain visibility and access to a supportive startup network. The awards ceremony will take place on October 27, 2026, at Tattersall. The StartAward aims to recognise and reward innovative startups in Wiesbaden. Winners will benefit from financial support and increased exposure. The event highlights the city’s growing entrepreneurial community.
