Potbelly, the well-known sandwich chain, is expanding in Mississippi with a new location in Flowood. This will be the second branch in the state, following the existing Olive Branch shop. The restaurant will open its doors in early December. The new Potbelly shop will be situated at Lakeland Commons Shopping Center on 4800 Lakeland Dr. Local franchisee Mark Reedy will run the location, alongside co-owners Kyle Sephton and Michael Wimberly. It is set to open on 2 December 2025, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for 12 December 2025.
The restaurant will serve its signature toasty sandwiches, fresh salads, oven-baked cookies, and hand-dipped shakes. Operating hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day. Customers can order ahead, arrange delivery, or book catering through the Potbelly website or app, with third-party delivery also available.
The Flowood branch aims to become a gathering spot for families, students, and working professionals in the area. The Flowood Potbelly will mark the brand’s second Mississippi location. It will offer a full menu, flexible ordering options, and extended daily hours. The opening follows a planned schedule, with a formal launch event to follow.
