Qyzyljar SEZ booms with 609 billion tenge in 2025 investments

The Qyzyljar Special Economic Zone (SEZ) continues to expand its industrial base with significant investments in 2025. Several new enterprises have begun operations, contributing to the region’s growing production capacity and economic activity. In 2025, the Qyzyljar SEZ attracted around 609 billion tenge in investment. The zone now hosts 21 participants across eight subzones, with private investment reaching up to eight tenge for every tenge of public funding.

Eco Glade LLP, a full-cycle mushroom farm, was commissioned this year. It produces up to 2,400 tons of mushrooms and 4,000 tons of compost annually, meeting roughly a quarter of the country’s mushroom demand.

Bakerton LLP has launched production of long-shelf-life bakery products. With an investment of over 37 billion tenge, the company’s annual capacity stands at 15,000 tons.

Nord Panels LLP manufactures laminated plywood and particleboard, with total investments of around 11 billion tenge. Its products are supplied to the domestic market, as well as the EAEU and the European Union.

KazCrane Engineering LLP specialises in lifting and transport equipment, including cranes with a load capacity of up to 500 tons. Its plant can produce up to 150 units per year. The Qyzyljar SEZ’s growth highlights its role in boosting regional industry. New enterprises like Eco Glade LLP, Bakerton LLP, and Nord Panels LLP are increasing output and meeting domestic and international demand. The zone’s investment model continues to drive economic development.
