Kalininsky Hospital Unveils Upgraded Therapy Unit After State-Funded Renovations

Kalininsky District Hospital has completed major upgrades to its therapy unit. The renovations were part of a state-funded programme aimed at improving healthcare services across the region. Patient care and staff conditions have already seen improvements as a result. The therapy unit received a full overhaul of its utility systems and interior finishes. A redesigned layout now enhances patient conditions, and a new lounge area provides staff with a comfortable space to rest. These changes were carried out under the state programme 'Healthcare Development'.

The hospital is also expanding its workforce. Three new employees, trained under a targeted programme, will join in 2026. An additional 14 staff members are set to start in 2027. To support their integration, a mentorship system has been introduced, with experienced specialists guiding newcomers through workflows and institutional standards.

The upgraded department will serve over 40,000 local residents. Further repairs are planned for departments in 15 medical facilities across the region before the end of the year. The hospital’s upgrades and staff expansion aim to improve service delivery for the municipality. The new lounge and mentorship system address both patient care and employee well-being. Additional repairs in other facilities will follow under the same state initiative.
