Kuwaiti Entrepreneurs Sharpen Soft Skills at AmCham's 4SMEs Workshop
A workshop aimed at empowering Kuwaiti entrepreneurs took place on Sunday, 16 November 2025. The event, titled 'Kuwait 4SMEs - Mastering Soft Skills for Business Success', was hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Kuwait (AmCham Kuwait). It brought together local business owners to develop essential skills for growth and collaboration. The workshop was co-hosted by DHL Express Kuwait, the National Fund for SME Development, and Learn & Evolve LLC. Dr. Arezou Harraf, Vice-Chair of AmCham Kuwait, founder of Learn & Evolve, and Dean of the College of Business at Box Hill College Kuwait, led the sessions.
The agenda covered four key areas: Soft Skills that Drive Entrepreneurial Growth, Elevating Your Entrepreneurial Edge, Entrepreneurial Mindset, and Effective Communication for Entrepreneurs. Participants took part in interactive exercises to improve decision-making, self-awareness, communication, adaptability, leadership presence, and confidence.
The event focused on closing the gap between technical expertise and interpersonal abilities. It also provided networking opportunities for attendees to share ideas, collaborate, and connect with ecosystem partners. The National Fund for SME Development supported the workshop as part of its broader mission to boost entrepreneurial skills and strengthen Kuwait’s SME sector. The workshop aligned with the National Fund’s ongoing initiatives to enhance entrepreneurial competencies. It offered practical tools and connections to help Kuwaiti small and medium-sized enterprises thrive. The organisers highlighted its role in fostering a stronger business community in the country.
