Simon Woodroffe reveals his unconventional jetlag-busting secrets at IdeasFest

Simon Woodroffe, founder of Yo! Sushi and Yotel, recently shared his personal strategies for combating jetlag at an IdeasFest event in London. The entrepreneur, known for his longstanding ties to the travel industry, also discussed his new memoir, Yo! Man. At the event, Woodroffe revealed his jetlag-busting routines. He begins mentally adjusting to the destination’s time zone 48 hours before departure. During travel, he avoids alcohol and takes melatonin to regulate his sleep patterns. He also advises travellers not to dwell on the time back home while abroad.

After the discussion, Jenny Southan, co-founder of Jetlag Noodles, presented him with samples of her company’s products. Jetlag Noodles offers two items: Revive, designed for energy and alertness, and Reset, aimed at relaxation and recovery. Woodroffe’s tips reflect his experience in the travel sector. His methods focus on preparation and natural aids to ease the effects of jetlag. The event also highlighted his ongoing promotion of Yo! Man, his memoir about entrepreneurship.
