Sushil Sharma to Lead BRICS CCI's MSME & Startup Vertical for Global Growth
Sushil Sharma has taken on a new role as President of the MSME & Startup Vertical at the BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He already holds leadership positions in multiple global organisations, further expanding India’s influence in entrepreneurship and innovation. His work aims to connect local startups with international opportunities. Sharma serves as Global Mentor for SCO Youth and Co-Chair of the Startup Vertical for Rotary District 3053. He also leads the Rajasthan Chapter of the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council. These roles allow him to shape policies and create networks for Indian startups, especially those in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
His recent visit to London for Tech Week included meetings with startup founders, investors, and policymakers. Discussions focused on investment, technology partnerships, and market access for Indian businesses. Sharma has also spoken at major events like the AIM Congress in Abu Dhabi, the SCO Summit in China, and TiEcon Udaipur.
As Chairman of Marwari Catalysts Group, he has supported over 100 startups, establishing the group as a key player in India’s startup ecosystem. His vision ensures that entrepreneurs from smaller cities gain the same global exposure as those in major hubs. Sharma’s leadership across BRICS CCI, SCO Youth, ESC, and Rotary strengthens India’s startup and MSME sectors. His efforts are opening doors for businesses in less prominent cities to access international markets and collaborations. The impact of his work is expected to grow as his global engagements expand.
