Uniswap launches no-code token auction tool for seamless project funding
Uniswap has introduced a no-code token auction tool through its Web App. The new feature allows project teams to set up and launch token sales without writing smart contract code. It marks a shift for the platform beyond its core decentralised exchange services. The tool walks users through a simple browser-based process. Teams can add token details, set auction rules, configure a liquidity pool, and start the sale. Once an auction ends, liquidity flows directly into a Uniswap pool, providing the project with its first trading pair and on-chain price discovery.
Uniswap previously used its Continuous Clearing Auction mechanism for Aztec’s token sale. That sale raised $59 million from 17,000 bidders across 191 countries. The model spreads bidding across multiple blocks, reducing the edge for automated or last-second bids and settling on a single final price.
The launch follows a period of high activity on the network. Active addresses on Uniswap have hit a four-month peak, while large-holder transactions are at their highest in seven months. It also comes after Standard Chartered initiated coverage of UNI with a $100 price target by the end of 2030. The no-code tool expands Uniswap’s role in the token launch space. It streamlines the process for new projects while maintaining the platform’s existing auction infrastructure. The feature is now live for teams looking to launch tokens without technical barriers.
