Southeast University and Amanat Shah Group forge textile innovation partnership

Southeast University and Amanat Shah Group have signed a memorandum of understanding. The agreement was formalised during an event focused on textile innovation. The ceremony took place at the university’s Multipurpose Hall in Dhaka on Wednesday. The event was titled Invention and Innovation in the Textile Sector. It was chaired by Southeast University’s vice-chancellor, Professor Yousuf Mahbubul Islam. Several key figures delivered speeches, including Professor Masud Ahmed, chairman of the university’s textile engineering department.

Md Nurul Islam, senior executive director of Woven Fabrics for Amanat Shah Group, also addressed the audience. He served as both a speaker and a signatory to the agreement. Md Rezaul Karim, director of Amanat Shah Group, and Mohammad Helal Miah, the group’s chairman, were also present. Miah attended as the chief guest.

The memorandum was signed by Md Nurul Islam and Professor Masud Ahmed. Their signatures marked the official partnership between the university and the group. The signed agreement establishes a formal collaboration between the two organisations. It follows discussions on advancing textile innovation. The event highlighted the shared commitment to progress in the sector.
