New Social Project Aims to Transform Care for Bedridden Patients

Roman Avramenko plans to launch a social project this year to support bedridden patients. His initiative will offer weekend care homes and essential medical services. The idea grew from his participation in the My Own Business programme in Nizhny Novgorod Region. The My Own Business project, run by the regional Ministry of Industry, recently trained 30 new participants. Training takes place in clusters across local municipalities, with six seminars held so far for over 80 attendees. Topics covered include legal basics, digital marketing, financial planning, franchising, state support, and staff management.

Participants are now developing businesses in fields like woodworking, healthcare, hospitality, and agriculture. Avramenko’s project, focused on patient transport, care, and rehabilitation, aligns with the federal Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises subproject under the Efficient and Competitive Economy programme. The programme helped him refine his business model and access funding opportunities. The initiative will provide vital services to those in need once launched. Avramenko’s project is one of several new ventures emerging from the training scheme. The regional government and partner organisations continue to support these efforts.
