FEBE Growth 100 2026 Reveals UK's Fastest-Growing Founder-Led Businesses
The FEBE Growth 100 ranking for 2026 has been unveiled. This is the fifth year the list has highlighted the UK’s fastest-growing founder-led businesses. The annual ranking celebrates companies driving innovation and economic growth across the country. The 2026 list includes firms from every corner of the UK. Together, they employ 8,000 people and have generated nearly £3 billion in turnover. All qualifying companies are UK-registered, privately owned, and independent, with annual revenues between £3 million and £200 million and a recorded operating profit.
FEBE assesses growth using criteria such as two-year compound annual growth rate, revenue performance, and founder involvement. The organisation also published a 'Watch List' of promising businesses on strong upward trajectories. These firms are noted for rapid expansion, job creation, and industry disruption.
This year, 40% of the founders on the list are women. Charlotte Quince and John Maffioli, founders of FEBE, described the ranking as a tribute to entrepreneurs who challenge limits and build outstanding businesses. The 2026 FEBE Growth 100 showcases the diversity and strength of Britain’s entrepreneurial scene. The listed companies demonstrate significant economic impact through employment and revenue. The inclusion of more female founders underscores the rising prominence of women in UK business leadership.
