AAVE surges 5% as Standard Chartered predicts $3,500 price by 2030

AAVE has seen a recent price increase of nearly 5%, trading at around $86.24. The cryptocurrency remains a major player in the decentralised finance (DeFi) sector, with its peak deposits once reaching approximately $75 billion. Standard Chartered has made bold long-term predictions for AAVE. The bank expects its price to climb to $3,500 by 2030. It also forecasts that the total value locked in DeFi will grow to $2.7 trillion within the same period. Additionally, real-world assets are projected to make up 30% of DeFi by 2030, a significant rise from the current 3.5%.

AAVE continues to dominate the DeFi lending market, capturing over 80% of its profits. Grayscale estimates the protocol’s 2025 revenue will be around $142 million. MSB Intel reports AAVE’s retained earnings for this year at approximately $43.3 million.

Technical analysis shows resistance near recent intraday highs. However, buyers have repeatedly defended key support levels, creating higher short-term lows.
