XPeng has launched its flagship MPV, the X9, in seven European countries. The model has already received a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP. A family in Norway was among the first to take delivery of the vehicle. The X9 is now available in Germany, Finland, Norway, Iceland, Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary. It targets the premium family and business market with features like a seven-seat cabin, 800-volt architecture, and ultra-fast charging. The model also includes rear-wheel steering technology.
Between January and May, XPeng delivered 14,275 X9 units, making up 11.34% of its total deliveries in that period. In May alone, the X9 saw 2,153 deliveries, accounting for 6.7% of the company’s monthly total. Prices in China range from 309,800 to 369,800 yuan.
The X9 meets the 2026 European five-star safety design standards. XPeng’s overall deliveries in May reached 32,158 vehicles, a slight drop year-on-year but an increase from April. Exports for the month rose 80.39% to 6,503 units, setting a new record. The X9 has begun reaching customers across Europe with strong safety credentials. Its performance and features aim to appeal to families and businesses. XPeng’s export growth and expanding model range signal its push into international markets.
