SyntheticFi hits $2B in assets as demand for advisor financing tools surges

SyntheticFi has now exceeded $2 billion in regulatory assets under management. The company, founded in 2023, provides portfolio-backed financing solutions for advisory firms. Its rapid growth highlights strong demand for advanced financial planning tools. Since its launch, SyntheticFi has raised over $13 million in venture funding from multiple investors. The platform supports strategies such as box spreads and synthetic VPFs, catering to a range of financial needs.

The firm’s client base has tripled since early 2026. It now serves over 300 independent advisory firms, covering more than 3,000 advisors across the US. These firms range from small RIAs to large advisory organisations.

Advisors use SyntheticFi to offer low-cost, tax-efficient financing for purposes like home purchases, debt refinancing, and managing concentrated stock positions. CEO Tony Yang notes that advisors are increasingly addressing clients’ broader financial situations through such tools. The company’s expansion reflects a growing need for sophisticated financing and liability planning in advisory services. With $2 billion in RAUM and a widening client network, SyntheticFi continues to strengthen its position in the financial technology sector.
