Star Launches Non-Alcoholic Beer - George Clooney launches alcohol-free Crazy Mountain beer in 2026
George Clooney is entering the alcohol-free beer market with a new brand called Crazy Mountain. The lager will launch in select U.S. markets in 2026 before expanding nationwide. Two varieties—Original and Lime—will be available at first.
The beer is designed to mimic the taste of a traditional lager while keeping alcohol content near zero. Brewers achieve this by limiting alcohol formation early in the process, which they say preserves the drink's aroma and flavour. Each 355-millilitre can contains roughly 65 calories.
Crazy Mountain will be sold in shops and directly through the brand's website. Clooney, along with business partners Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman, previously sold their tequila brand, Casamigos, for a reported $1 billion. Whether the beer will expand into Europe or Germany remains unclear.
The initial rollout targets specific U.S. regions, with wider distribution planned for later. No further details have been released about additional flavours or international markets beyond the U.S.
Crazy Mountain's alcohol-free lager arrives in 2026, starting in chosen U.S. locations. The brand will offer two versions and sell online as well as in stores. Plans for global expansion have not yet been announced.
