VTB Bank and GMS Group ink strategic deal at SPIEF 2026

VTB Bank and GMS Group have signed a cooperation agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2026. The deal will see VTB finance the company’s projects and investment plans. Both sides have highlighted its importance for Russia’s economic sectors. The agreement was formally signed by Dmitry Sredin, senior vice president and head of VTB’s Market Industries Client Department, and Artem Molchanov, CEO of GMS Group. Under the terms, VTB will support GMS Group’s development and help implement financial flow management solutions.

Sredin described the group’s operations as strategically vital for key areas of Russia’s economy. Molchanov added that the partnership would boost the nation’s technological independence. The signing took place during SPIEF 2026, a major platform for economic collaboration in Russia.

The deal will provide GMS Group with funding for its projects and investment programme. VTB’s involvement aims to enhance financial efficiency and support critical industries. Both organisations will now work together on implementing the agreed solutions.
