VinFast's VF MPV 7 debuts in the Philippines with 450 km range and fast charging

VinFast has unveiled its latest electric vehicle, the VF MPV 7, in the Philippines. The seven-seater MPV arrives with strong performance figures and a long-range battery, aiming to reshape the local electric mobility market. Orders open on May 5, 2026, with special incentives for early buyers. The VF MPV 7 measures 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and 1,734 mm in height, with a 2,840 mm wheelbase. Its electric motor produces 150 kW of power and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 60.13 kWh battery. This setup delivers a maximum range of 450 km on a full charge.

Fast-charging technology allows the battery to go from 10% to 70% in around 30 minutes. Customers can choose between two pricing options: PHP 1,518,000 with the battery included or PHP 1,239,000 under a battery subscription plan. Monthly subscription fees start at PHP 2,700 for up to 2,000 km and rise to PHP 4,150 for higher mileage.

VinFast is also expanding its dealership and service network across the Philippines to support the new model. Buyers will benefit from free charging at V-Green stations until March 2029, alongside a 7-year or 160,000 km vehicle warranty and a 10-year or 200,000 km battery warranty.

Antonio Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia, described the VF MPV 7 as a major upgrade for Filipino families. He added that the vehicle sets a new standard in the MPV segment with its advanced features and electric performance. The VF MPV 7 goes on sale from May 5, 2026, with a limited-time promotion for the first 1,000 customers. Its combination of fast charging, long warranty, and flexible pricing aims to accelerate electric vehicle adoption in the Philippines. The expanded dealership network will further support owners with maintenance and aftersales services.
