Vietnam honors 87 young entrepreneurs driving innovation and economic growth
An awards ceremony in Hải Phòng City on Wednesday recognised 87 outstanding young start-up entrepreneurs. The event highlighted their contributions to business, innovation, and employment across Vietnam. More than 130 nominations were submitted from around the country. From these, 86 entrepreneurs were selected for the title, with 10 named as standout individuals. The Top 10 alone generated VNĐ1.89 trillion in revenue last year.
All 2026 award recipients together produced VNĐ4.45 trillion in revenue. They also contributed VNĐ48.3 billion to the State budget and created jobs for 3,726 workers. A special honorary award was given to a young entrepreneur with disabilities.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Văn Thắng attended the ceremony. He praised the entrepreneurs and stressed the need to link business with science, technology, innovation, and social responsibility. The recognised businesses have made a significant economic impact. Their combined revenue, tax contributions, and job creation demonstrate their role in Vietnam’s growth.
