VFP Communications secures independence in landmark management buyout
VFP Communications has completed a management buyout, taking full ownership from dfv Media Group. The deal, finalised in mid-November 2025, transfers equal shares to three long-standing executives. Both companies have pledged to continue working together despite the change in structure. The transition sees Izabela Sakowicz, Iwona Nawrocka-Kilinowska, and Łukasz Grabczyński become equal owners of VFP Communications. Sakowicz, who has led the company as managing director for three years, now shares control with Nawrocka-Kilinowska and Grabczyński. The latter two joined in 2024, taking on roles as CMO and COO respectively.
For dfv Media Group, the move allows a sharper focus on its core business areas. CEO Peter Esser described the buyout as a cooperative agreement that secures VFP Communications’ future. Thomas Berner, managing director at dfv, highlighted the strong and trusting relationship built with the team over time. Despite the ownership shift, both firms plan to maintain close ties. Joint events and shared editorial content will remain part of their ongoing collaboration.
The buyout marks a new chapter for VFP Communications under its three co-owners. dfv Media Group will now concentrate on its primary operations while keeping a working partnership with the newly independent company. The agreement ensures continuity in projects and content exchange between the two organisations.
