Unlimit and Decentro Team Up to Simplify Global Payments for Indian Businesses
Unlimit, a global financial infrastructure platform, has partnered with Decentro, India’s leading fintech enabler. The collaboration aims to simplify global expansion for Indian businesses by removing structural barriers. Together, they now offer a unified system for cross-border payments and compliance. Indian fintechs and digital platforms often struggle with fragmented regulations and local payment systems when scaling internationally. This partnership addresses those challenges by providing a single, programmable layer for payment acceptance and fund management.
The integration allows businesses to process locally preferred payment methods without setting up multiple entities. Customers can now accept PIX in Brazil, SEPA Instant in Europe, and popular e-wallets across APAC—all through one platform. Unlimit and Decentro also handle multi-currency conversion, local compliance, and smart transaction routing.
Irene Skrynova, CEO of Global Payments at Unlimit, highlighted the partnership’s ability to deliver end-to-end global payments. Rohit Taneja, Founder and CEO of Decentro, added that the integration serves as a definitive gateway for merchants entering international markets.
The move comes as Southeast Asia’s digital economy is forecast to hit $1 trillion by 2030, with Africa’s digital payments market expected to reach $1.5 trillion in the same period. The partnership between Unlimit and Decentro reduces complexity for Indian businesses expanding abroad. By consolidating payment methods, compliance, and currency handling, the solution mimics the speed and efficiency of local providers. This positions Indian fintechs to tap into high-growth digital economies more effectively.
