Toyota leads Russia's used car market as prices for Audi and Camry plummet
A new report from Avito Auto (16+) has revealed key trends in Russia’s used car market for spring 2026. The study examined supply Toyota dominated the market with 35.7% of all used car listings. The brand also topped user interest, accounting for 38.7% of searches. However, even its popular models faced price declines—the Toyota Camry fell by 18.5% to 1 million rubles.
Audi experienced the steepest price drop among brands, with average prices plunging 26% to 2.4 million rubles. Despite this, demand for certain SUVs and crossovers surged. The Haval H6, Audi Q3, Lexus NX, Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Mazda CX-5 saw the fastest-growing interest. Regional trends also stood out. In the Far Eastern Federal District, Suzuki demand jumped 25.8% year-on-year, making it the fastest-growing brand there. Lexus and Renault also gained traction in the same region. The most listed models were the Honda Fit and Toyota Corolla. Meanwhile, the Toyota Corolla, Honda Fit, and Toyota Land Cruiser remained the top three most searched-for used cars.
The report highlights Toyota’s stronghold in both supply and demand, though some of its models have become cheaper. SUVs and crossovers continue to attract buyers, while regional preferences shift toward brands like Suzuki and Lexus. Audi’s significant price drop suggests a changing market for premium used cars.
