Toyota Germany overhauls structure to accelerate commercial growth by 2026
Toyota Germany is reshaping its organisation to boost commercial operations and simplify its structure. The changes take effect on 1 April 2026, with a focus on improving efficiency and customer service. Three new directors will lead key areas under the guiding principle One Fleet Company.
Over the past five years, Toyota's mobility services in Germany have expanded rapidly. Between 2021 and 2025, Kinto—Toyota's mobility brand—saw its market share in car subscriptions and leasing climb from 2% to 8%. This growth outpaced rivals like Volkswagen Financial Services, which remained flat at 15–17%, and BMW Bank, which grew modestly to 4–6%. Kinto's success was driven by Toyota's hybrid focus and integrated financing, helping its subscriber base reach over 50,000 by 2025.
The new structure aims to build on this momentum. Holger Kiener will take charge as Director of Kinto and Fleet Sales, overseeing solutions for commercial customers. Jörg Dzubiella becomes Director of Sales and Network, while Nadine Busch will lead the Value Chain division. By streamlining processes and cutting redundancies, Toyota Germany expects to improve efficiency. The goal is to offer businesses seamless support across the entire value chain, from sales to financing and mobility services.
The restructuring reflects Toyota's push to strengthen its commercial business and sales network. With clearer roles and a unified approach, the company plans to deliver more cohesive services to customers. The changes will be fully implemented by the start of April 2026.
