Swashaa's Affordable Jewelry Empire Grows 300% in Just Three Years
Swashaa, a digital-first fashion jewelry brand, has seen remarkable growth since its 2021 launch. Founded by Twisha Ramani, the company has expanded rapidly, with customer numbers rising by over 300% by 2024 and revenue hitting ₹150 crore (around $18 million). Its focus on affordable, trendy everyday jewelry has set it apart in a competitive market.
Swashaa was created to fill a gap in the market for stylish, accessible jewelry designed for daily wear. The brand offers a wide range of products, including bracelets, necklaces, mangalsutras, and even kids' jewelry, with more than 1,800 unique styles available. Mangalsutras, in particular, have become a standout category, combining traditional designs with contemporary appeal.
The company's success comes from a mix of smart strategies. AI-driven personalization, partnerships with social media influencers, and a subscription model for customizable pieces have helped it outperform rivals like BlueStone and CaratLane. It also benefits from an asset-light approach, outsourcing production to vendors in China while keeping operations lean with around 70 employees.
Sales are mostly driven through Swashaa's own website, accounting for nearly 95% of revenue. The rest comes from marketplaces and its global platform. Since launching, the brand has served over 9 lakh customers and fulfilled more than 9.5 lakh orders. A 30% repeat purchase rate reflects strong customer loyalty.
Financially, Swashaa continues to grow steadily. Revenue reached ₹17.75 crore in FY25, up nearly 10% from ₹16.15 crore the previous year. The company is now on track to hit ₹30 crore in FY26.
Swashaa's rapid rise highlights the demand for affordable, fashion-forward jewelry. With a strong digital presence, a broad product range, and a focus on customer retention, the brand is well-positioned for further expansion. Its revenue growth and high repeat purchase rate suggest a solid foundation for the future.
