Stinges Bakery's sixth generation takes the reins in 2026 leadership shift
As of January 1, 2026, the company's executive management will expand: Carlotta Stinges-Smeetz, Fabio Stinges, and Christopher Stinges—representing the sixth generation—will take over operational leadership of the family business. Overall responsibility will remain with brothers Willi and Leo Stinges.
All three new managing directors have been integral to the company for many years and already oversee key areas. Since 2016, Carlotta Stinges-Smeetz has led the marketing division, shaping the brand identity as well as internal and external communications. Fabio Stinges has been responsible for production since 2018, combining his expertise as a master baker, pastry chef, and certified craft business economist to merge artisanal tradition with modern production structures. Christopher Stinges has headed the sales division since 2022, bringing extensive experience as a master baker, pastry chef, craft business economist, and bread sommelier to lead the retail network and drive its ongoing development.
With clearly defined responsibilities in marketing, production, and sales, the company is establishing a structured and forward-looking leadership team. This planned transition to the sixth generation ensures the long-term growth of the business, blending deep-rooted family values with contemporary corporate governance.
