Spot & Tango Bolsters Leadership with Two Key Hires in Pet Health Expansion
Spot & Tango has appointed two new senior leaders to drive growth in its pet health division. Serena Advani will oversee PupGum, the company's patent-pending postbiotic dental chew, as general manager. Meanwhile, Sowan Cha Rhee joins as senior vice president of finance, bringing extensive experience in scaling consumer brands.
Serena Advani takes charge of PupGum after a career spanning beauty and consulting. She previously founded Seadrop, a waterless skincare brand, and held roles at McKinsey and The Estée Lauder Companies. Her academic background includes degrees in cognitive neuroscience and operations, along with an MBA from The Wharton School. Russell Breuer, Spot & Tango's co-founder and CEO, highlighted her focus on building PupGum into a standout brand.
Sowan Cha Rhee arrives with over a decade of finance expertise in high-growth companies. She most recently served as vice president of strategic finance at ByHeart, where she led financial planning and supported over $250 million in fundraising. Before that, she held senior finance positions at ELEMIS and Vince, starting her career in investment banking at Citigroup. Rhee holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Economics from The Wharton School. Breuer noted her financial leadership will be key to scaling the business.
Both appointments come as Spot & Tango strengthens its leadership team. Advani's role will focus on expanding PupGum's market presence, while Rhee's financial oversight aims to support the company's growth. No public data is available on PupGum's market position relative to competitors as of February 2026.
