SNDK stock soars 465% in 2026 as AI demand fuels NAND flash boom

Shares of SNDK have surged by 465% in 2026, fuelled by soaring demand for NAND flash memory. The company’s strong financial results and a booming AI storage market have pushed its stock to new highs. But while the business thrives, some executives have begun selling shares. The rally started with SNDK’s third-quarter performance in 2026. Revenue jumped by 251% compared to the same period last year, with earnings per share hitting $23.41. A major driver was the data centre segment, where sales climbed by 233% as cloud providers scaled up AI infrastructure.

Industry-wide shortages of memory chips have also worked in SNDK’s favour. Tight supply pushed prices higher, boosting profitability across the sector. Competitors like Western Digital, Seagate and Micron have seen similar gains this year. Looking ahead, SNDK expects around $8 billion in revenue for Q4, with gross margins near 80%. The company is shifting toward long-term supply deals with hyperscale cloud providers to lock in future demand. Despite the optimism, two senior figures recently reduced their stakes. On May 8, Director Necip Sayiner sold shares worth roughly $870,300. The same day, Chief Accounting Officer Michael Pokorny offloaded about $3.5 million in stock.

SNDK’s rapid growth reflects the critical role of NAND flash in AI and cloud computing. With revenue projections remaining strong, the company appears well positioned in a high-demand market. Yet the timing of executive share sales adds a note of caution to an otherwise bullish outlook.
