Sara Davies MBE launches Mind Your Business podcast with her sister Helen
Entrepreneur Sara Davies MBE has launched a new podcast with her sister Helen Goddard. The show, Mind Your Business, adds to her growing list of ventures since becoming a household name on Dragons’ Den. Known for her sharp business instincts, Davies has built a career spanning investing, writing, and now podcasting. Davies first made her mark in 2005 with Crafter’s Companion. The idea came while studying at the University of York, where she spotted a gap in the crafting market. Her parents, who ran a decorating shop for over 30 years, had already given her early lessons in business and financial discipline.
In 2019, she joined *Dragons’ Den* as its youngest-ever investor at just 35. Since then, she has backed founders who show passion, vision, and determination. Beyond the show, she has written books and remains a prominent voice in British business. Recently, Davies met Chancellor Rachel Reeves at 11 Downing Street. She was part of a group led by TV presenter Steph McGovern, representing 50 female founders from the North East. The visit highlighted her ongoing role in supporting entrepreneurs across the UK.
The new podcast marks another step in Davies’ varied career. From crafting supplies to prime-time TV and now audio, she continues to expand her influence. Her focus remains on helping others succeed while growing her own ventures.
