SaaScada and Vacuumlabs unite to revolutionize core banking systems globally

SaaScada and Vacuumlabs have joined forces to upgrade core banking systems for financial institutions. The partnership aims to streamline the launch of new banking products while tackling the challenges of large-scale deployments. Both companies will combine their strengths to offer a unified solution for banks and FinTech firms across several key regions.

The collaboration brings together SaaScada's cloud-native core banking platform with Vacuumlabs' expertise in financial product development. SaaScada specialises in real-time data processing and flexible product management, while Vacuumlabs provides delivery frameworks, integration support, and engineering resources. Together, they will help institutions implement core banking systems, including digital channels, payment infrastructure, KYC and AML checks, and regulatory reporting.

Nelson Wootton, CEO and co-founder of SaaScada, explained that the goal is to simplify the process of introducing new banking services. Tomas Masek, CEO of Vacuumlabs, added that execution—not technology—remains the biggest hurdle in modernising core banking. The partnership seeks to overcome this by offering a cohesive delivery model that ensures production readiness and compliance.

The joint solution targets regulated financial institutions in the Baltics, Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, the UK, and the Middle East. Industry reports suggest that around 1,000 banks globally have recently upgraded their core systems to meet digital demands and regulatory requirements like Europe's DORA and PSD2.

The partnership will provide banks and FinTech firms with a streamlined approach to core banking modernisation. By combining SaaScada's platform with Vacuumlabs' integration and delivery expertise, the collaboration aims to reduce deployment risks and accelerate product launches. Financial institutions in the targeted regions will gain access to a unified solution designed for efficiency and compliance.
