Russia's MediaPole Award Celebrates Rural Life with 5M Rubles in Prizes

Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture has launched the MediaPole National Award for Informational Projects on Rural Life. The competition invites Magadan-based creators to share stories about the region’s countryside, with a total prize fund of 5 million rubles. The award is part of the state program Comprehensive Development of Rural Territories. Its goal is to highlight the positive aspects of rural work and encourage growth in these areas. Journalists, bloggers, and media professionals aged 18 and above can take part.

Entries must be submitted by September 30, 2026, through the official platform *mediapole.rf*. Each participant may submit one entry, which can include text, photos, videos, or social media posts. The competition focuses on authentic stories about rural life in Magadan. An expert panel will review submissions and select 120 top creators. These finalists will join a professional development program and visit leading media hubs across Russia.

The MediaPole Award offers both financial rewards and career opportunities for participants. Winners will gain recognition while contributing to a broader effort to promote rural development. The deadline for submissions remains open until late 2026.
