Russia's Job Boom: 23 Million Offers in Three Months Target Younger Workers

Experts from hh.ru, Russia's leading online recruitment platform, have analyzed the labor market to determine how actively employers sought new employees in the first quarter of 2026. Their findings reveal that over three months, companies extended more than 23 million job invitations to candidates.

Women aged 19–30 received 5.3 million job offers, while those in the 31–40 bracket were sent 4 million. Men in the same age categories received 3.4 million invitations each.

Women, meanwhile, most frequently received offers in "HR and Training" (90%), as well as "Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals" and "Finance and Accounting" (each at 84%).

The fewest invitations were extended to residents of Astrakhan Oblast (3%, or 49,000) and the Republic of Adygea (1%, or 17,000).

Employers showed the greatest interest in 14–18-year-old applicants in Rostov Oblast (3,700 offers) and Krasnodar Krai (3,500). In the 19–30 age group, the most invitations went to candidates in Krasnodar Krai (321,700), Rostov Oblast (250,900), and Volgograd Oblast (16,000).
