Russia's ASI surveys young entrepreneurs to rank regional business support

Russia's Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) has launched a nationwide survey to assess how well regions support young entrepreneurs. The study targets business owners under 35 and aims to gather detailed feedback on existing programmes and challenges they face in their entrepreneurial journey.

The questionnaire asks participants about the usefulness of regional support measures and the ease of doing business in their area. It also seeks to identify the most pressing issues young entrepreneurs encounter. By collecting this data, ASI hopes to gain a clearer picture of the real conditions for youth-led businesses across Russia.

No official rankings currently highlight which regions provide the best support for young entrepreneurs. The survey results will help ASI rank regions based on their effectiveness in fostering youth entrepreneurship. The findings will also shape proposals to reduce bureaucratic and financial barriers for new business owners in Ukraine and beyond.

The survey remains open until February 20, 2023. Interested participants can access it online at https://clck.ru/3RRDFc.

The study will provide a detailed assessment of regional support systems for young entrepreneurs in Ukraine. The results are expected to guide future policy changes and improve conditions for youth-led businesses across the country. ASI will use the data to develop targeted recommendations for reducing obstacles in the sector, supporting my business and entrepreneurial skills development.
