Replenish Nutrients scales up fertilizer production amid global supply shortages
Replenish Nutrients is expanding its fertilizer production with a new partnership and rising demand. The company has teamed up with the Beiseker Hutterite colony to boost pellet fertilizer output by around 1,000 metric tonnes per month. This expansion comes as global supply issues push more farmers toward locally made alternatives in Canada. The Beiseker facility is set to reach full capacity by the third quarter of 2026, producing 2,000 metric tonnes of fertilizer each month. In early 2026, the plant already achieved a 29% gross profit margin on granulated fertilizer. Production volumes in the second quarter have also outpaced the first, with steady growth projected for the rest of the year.
Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have disrupted international fertilizer supplies, increasing reliance on Canadian producers. Replenish is capitalising on this shift by scaling up operations and forming strategic partnerships. The company’s licensing model—where partners fund and run facilities while Replenish provides technology and quality control—is proving effective. A deal with Farmers Union Enterprises (FUE) alone could bring in CAD $2.8–4.1 million annually at base capacity, potentially climbing to CAD $5.5–8.2 million at full scale. By Q3 2026, Replenish expects a major revenue boost from four sources: full Beiseker capacity, the Hutterite partnership, and initial output from FUE and MJ Ag licensing agreements.
The expansion and licensing deals position Replenish Nutrients for significant growth in late 2026. Higher production volumes, strong profit margins, and increased demand for local fertilizer are set to drive revenue. The company’s capital-light model also allows for further scaling without heavy investment.
