RegTech Africa 2026 Unites Global Leaders for a Borderless Digital Economy

The 2026 RegTech Africa Conference & Expo will take place in Abuja, Nigeria, from 20th to 22nd May. Organised under the patronage of Nigeria's Vice President, the event will gather global leaders in policy, finance, and technology to discuss trusted digital financial systems and cross-border trade. A highlight of the conference is the Global Startup World Cup Tournament – Regional Challenge, offering African startups a chance to win a $1,000,000 investment prize.

The conference, themed Building Trust, Infrastructure and Policy for a Borderless Economy, is set to attract thousands of attendees from Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Over three days, participants will engage in ministerial dialogues, executive roundtables, and investment-focused sessions. Technology showcases and networking platforms will also form key parts of the programme.

The event is hosted in partnership with the Presidential Committee on Economic & Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI) and the Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA). While GIABA has not publicly reported specific RegTech or digital infrastructure initiatives in West Africa over the past five years, the conference aims to drive discussions on regulatory innovation.

Sponsorship and partnership opportunities are open to public and private sector organisations, multinational corporations, and tech firms. Interested parties can register or enquire via [email protected] or the official website, www.regtechafricaconference.com.

The 2026 RegTech Africa Conference & Expo will provide a platform for startups, investors, and policymakers to collaborate on digital financial solutions. With a $1,000,000 prize at stake for startups, the event seeks to accelerate innovation in regulatory technology.
