QoQa's new automated logistics hub boosts Swiss e-commerce expansion

Swiss e-commerce company QoQa has opened a new automated logistics hub in Éclépens. The facility aims to support the company’s ongoing expansion. It will serve over one million members who access daily deals across multiple product categories. The hub operates with a KiSoft WMS warehouse management system at its core. This system manages stock, storage locations, and order processing. With space for 371,901 individual items, the design also includes a 30% capacity reserve for future needs.

The facility uses advanced automation developed with intralogistics provider Knapp. It features high-bay storage, stacker cranes, and conveyors for both containers and pallets. Pick-to-light workstations and flow racks for fast-moving items further streamline operations.

Daily, the centre processes approximately 130 pallets, 21,700 individual items, and 7,500 shipments. It handles both long-term inventory and direct-ship orders, including bundle picking. Baptiste Lopez, Logistics Project Manager at QoQa, commended Knapp for delivering a smooth, end-to-end logistics solution. The new hub strengthens QoQa’s ability to meet growing demand. Its automation and capacity reserves prepare the company for increased order volumes. The system’s efficiency supports the fast-paced nature of daily deal offerings.
