QA.tech raises €3M to revolutionize AI-powered software testing
Stockholm-based startup QA.tech has secured €3 million in seed funding to grow its AI-powered software testing platform. The company, launched in 2023, already serves around 40 customers, including Leya, Upsales, Virtusize, and Shoplab.
The investment round was led by PROfounders, a venture capital firm with a strong track record in early-stage European tech. Additional backing came from Curiosity, byFounders, and several angel investors.
QA.tech specialises in AI-driven testing for applications and SaaS services. Its beta version is currently in use by nearly 40 businesses, helping them automate quality assurance processes.
The fresh funding will go towards product development and team expansion. The company aims to refine its AI and scale operations to meet growing demand.
PROfounders, the lead investor, has a history of supporting early-stage startups. Since 2009, the firm has funded over 50 tech companies, primarily in Germany and across Europe. Their involvement signals confidence in QA.tech's potential to disrupt the software testing market.
The startup was founded by Daniel Mauno Pettersson, Patrick Lef, Marcus Carloni, and Vilhelm von Ehrenheim. Their combined expertise in AI and software engineering has shaped the platform's development from the outset.
With €3 million in new funding, QA.tech plans to enhance its AI testing tools and grow its workforce. The investment will help the company solidify its position in the competitive SaaS testing market. Customers like Leya and Upsales already rely on its beta solution for streamlined quality assurance.
