Peer Jelendorf takes the helm at UK's top finance review platform
Smart Money People has named Peer Jelendorf as its new Chief Executive Officer. He takes over from Jacqueline Dewey, who led the company for nearly six years. The UK's leading financial services review platform is now preparing for its next phase of growth under his leadership.
Founded in 2014, Smart Money People has grown into the country's most comprehensive review site for financial services. Under Dewey's direction, the company expanded its reach and capabilities. One key achievement was the acquisition of the personal finance platform Be Clever With Your Cash.
Jelendorf arrives with a strong background in UK fintech. Most recently, he served as Head of Commercial at Moneybox. Before that, he held roles at Boston Consulting Group and GoCompare. His experience spans commercial growth, strategic leadership, and personal finance.
As CEO, Jelendorf will focus on strengthening the platform's foundations. He plans to broaden the range of providers working with Smart Money People. He also aims to enhance the depth and value of the insights it offers to financial firms. Dewey will step down at the end of February after nearly six years in charge.
Jelendorf's appointment marks a new chapter for Smart Money People. His track record in fintech and commercial strategy is expected to drive further expansion. The company will continue supporting financial services firms with data-driven insights.
